What is ‘Best Price Guarantee’?
Evolve Back Resorts offers the following ‘Best Price Guarantee’, to all our guests and travel agents.
If a Guest / Agent can show us with proof (invoice) that he/she has confirmed a booking with Evolve Back Resorts at a higher discount than is mentioned in the below Discount Policy, we will beat the price by ‘Double the Difference’. (Please see detailed examples below).
Example :
Resort: Evolve Back Hampi
Room Type: Jal Mahal
Dates: 14 / 17 Nov 2021
Website Rate: Rs. 1,00,000/-
Inclusions: Breakfast, Dinner & Taxes
Section 1:- Applicable to Direct Sales Team
Scenario 1: Direct Sales (v/s) Travel Agent
Evolve Back Resorts has quoted Rs. 95,000/- for the above package at a 5% discount.
But as per our conversation with the Guest, we understand that the Guest has received a quote from a Travel Agent for the same room type, with all the above inclusions for Rs. 90,000/-, which is a 10% discount.
The difference between the price that we have quoted to the Guest at 5% discount and what the Guest has received from the Travel Agent at 10% discount is Rs. 5000/-.
Thereby as per our ‘Best Price Guarantee’ policy, we will beat the price by ‘Double the Difference’, that is by 5000 x 2 times = Rs. 10,000/- will be given to the guest to be utilized for any extras during this stay.
The discount violation should be verified with substantiate proof.
The BPG Claim amount of 5000 x 2 times will be recovered from the Travel Agent who has confirmed the booking with discount violation, along with an additional penalty of 5000 x 1 time, towards administrative cost. Thereby a total penalty equivalent to 5000 x 3 times = Rs. 15,000/- will be recovered from the Travel Agent.
Section 2:- Applicable to TA Team
Scenario 1: B2C Discount Violation
Agent A has quoted Rs. 95,000/- to his Guest for the above package at a 5% discount.
But as per our conversation with Agent A, we understand that the Guest has received a quote from another Travel Agent – Agent B, for the same room type, with all the above inclusions for Rs. 91,000/-, which is a 9% discount.
The difference between the price that an Agent is allowed to quote to the Guest at 5% discount and what the Guest has received from Agent B at 9% discount is Rs. 4000/-.
Thereby as per our ‘Best Price Guarantee’ Scheme we will beat the price by ‘Double the Difference’, that is by 4000 x 2 times = Rs. 8,000/-, will be given to the guest to be utilized for any extras during this stay.
The discount violation should be verified with substantiate proof.
The BPG Claim amount of 4000 x 2 times will be recovered from the Travel Agent who has confirmed the booking with the discount violation, along with an additional penalty of 4000 x 1 time, towards the administrative cost. Thereby a total penalty equivalent to 4000 x 3 times = Rs. 12,000/- will be recovered from the Travel Agent.
Scenario 2: B2B Discount Violation
Agent A has quoted Rs. 88,000/- to his Sub-Agent for the above package at a 12% discount.
But as per our conversation with Agent A, we understand that his Sub-Agent has received a quote from another Travel Agent – Agent B, for the same room type & with all the above inclusions for Rs. 85,000/-, which is a 15% discount.
The difference between the price that an Agent is allowed to quote to the Sub-Agent at 12% discount and what the Sub-Agent has received from Agent B at 15% discount is Rs. 3000/-.
Thereby as per our ‘Best Price Guarantee’ Scheme, we will beat the price by ‘Double the Difference’, that is by 3000 x 2 times = Rs. 6,000/-, upon verifying this discount violation with substantiate proof.
The BPG Claim amount of 3000 x 2 times will be recovered from the Travel Agent who has confirmed the booking with the discount violation, along with an additional penalty of 3000 x 1 time, towards the administrative cost. Thereby a total penalty equivalent to 3000 x 3 times = Rs. 9,000/- will be recovered from the Travel Agent.
Steps to be followed by the Sales Executive:
Inform Guests / Agents to immediately email us or call us if they have received a lower price, which is not in accordance with the below Discount Policy.
The Sales Executive will then help the Guest / Agent complete a simple Best Price Guarantee - Claim Form.
Once the claim form has been filled, the Guest / Agent must provide us with the invoice copy received from the Travel Agent, who has given the lower price.
The invoice will be verified by Evolve Back Resorts and upon successful verification, Evolve Back Resorts will be happy to give the Guest / Agent a cheque for ‘Double the Difference’.
Please note:
For the BPG claim to be valid, Evolve Back Resorts should receive the invoice at least 2 days before the check in date.
Evolve Back Resorts will share the invoice with the Travel Agent who has given the lower price, for verification purposes.
The ‘Best Price Guarantee’ does not apply for Corporate Partnerships of Evolve Back Resorts / Member bookings / Director or Employee Referral bookings / Repeat Guest Loyalty Program at Evolve Back Resorts, etc.
